The Association currently has two types of memberships:
Full Membership
Any citizen of permanent resident of Brunei Darussalam who has undertaken study of any duration at any Australian university, college, institution of higher learning, school, education or language centre; or has undergone formal professional, technical, military, or industrial training in Australia or its territories; or has worked in Australia or its territories is eligible to apply as Member of the Association.
Associate Membership
Any person who is not a citizen or permanent resident of Brunei Darussalam but who meets the criteria in sub-paragraphs 4(a) and (b) of this Constitution, and parents of students studying in Australia are eligible to become an Associate Member of the Association.An Associate Member is not entitled to vote at meetings of the Association.
